To ensure the preservation of high tuna quality, BFAR in partnership with SFFAII facilitated a training on appropriated tuna handling and preservation technique to 57 Commercial Tuna Handliners from General Santos City.

The Project team has participated in the SAFET 2023 Conference, themed “Impact at Scale for a Sustainable and Resilient Future” held in Bali, Indonesia
Enrolment of the fisheries on FisheryProgress.org and launching a Social FIP to assess the social aspects of the fisheries.
